Dwarf Fort Note
Note to self.
Placing the beds next to the brewery is a bad idea. Doubly so when attempting some magnificent feat of lava engineering.
7 people survived out of 50. 1 Person was initially injured; and on fire. But some enterprising chap decided to carry him to the sleeping quarters to rest.
It wasn't long before the brewery exploded.
*#Flaming. Dwarves. Everywhere.#*
One hero, may he rest in piece, attempted to save a barrel Dwarven wine while on fire. Running away from the ruination consuming the fort, he passes the trade depot where the expedition leader and laison are talking. In an instant, he explodes taking both leaders with him.
Like a sinking ship I saved the remaining (!!NOT ON FIRE!!) booze (we have our priorities) and cordoned off the burning sections of the fort and let the still flaming dwarves flame out.
..instead of, you know, go get a drink like some of them apparently were doing.
